The Other Bio
While I think my story gives you a glimpse into who I am… I also wanted to add some extra things that might help you to get to know me even more.
- I am infinitely curious. Especially about you. What do you do, why you do it? Who are you? What’s your story?
- I love grocery shopping. I map out the store in my mind and write the list to mirror where things are in the store. Then I shop.
- As my hair has been blessed with cowlicks and is directional challenged, haircuts cause me a certain level of anxiety. Even those who have worked on my hair for years can make mistakes easily. Lucky for me, gel and rapid growth cover a multitude of issues.
- I speak two languages, Canadian and Californian. I jump back and forth between the two. “Out” and “‘about” seem to show my Canadian.
- I am happier speaking to a group of 1000 people than 5. Although, both are quite appealing.
- Breakfast is my favorite meal. By far. Daily standard - eggs (over medium) and Ezekiel Bread toasted with peanut butter and raspberry jam. Alternately and for an occassional treat I love whiskey porridge topped with a wee dram of Glenfiddich, 12 year old. And a cappuccino. Breakfast is not complete without it. ( see next item on the list)
- I love my morning cappuccino made with Illy espresso roast coffee, brewed in a Brikka pot from Bialetti. Then combined with organic-lactose free milk and foam. Ah, sweet, wonderful coffee.
- I spent many years as a kid on the farm. It instills a certain “farm sense” in you. I secretly wish more people had it. I’m lucky that “she” has it. Fact is, we learned it on the same farm!
- I’m learning to be a better cook. I’ve been a “get it done” cook for years, now I am working on the “get it wonderful” part.
