We’re just finishing the O’Neil Strategic Partner Conference. I’m on stage here with Ian Thomas proving how incredibly easy it is to leverage these events for your own marketing.

Bottom line, yesterday the conference attendees got involved in the record center challenge. It was a combination of lip synch and music video. The teams were required to create a music video during the challenge. During the night, a video editor worked to make it into a finished product.

This morning we saw all seven entries and a distinguished panel of judges chose the winning team video.

So, here’s the video showing the winning entry in the contest.

By the way, we raised almost $26,000 for Make A Wish Foundation in the process.

You might wonder why it has been so quiet on the old blog recently… well, even longer than recently.

You see, I am at work in my lair creating a pretty exciting new project… one that I am extremely excited about.

It involves the whole of what I have spent years figuring out… and while I am not yet ready to share it, I am more excited about this than anything I have done in a long time.

Probably one of the best brief messages I have heard in months. Stay with it, the ending is powerful.

If you have a million pictures on your hard drive… like I do… then you need to take a look at this cool software I have been closely involved with since it’s birth. It’s called Fotobounce, and it is a really amazing face recognition tool that looks at your digital pictures and finds the faces in them. It then analyzes all your other pictures to determine who else is in them… helping you organize your photos based on faces rather than randomly assigned numbers. You do of course have to train Fotobounce who the faces are…

But once you do, that is when the fun begins. Need pictures of you and grandma? Just ask it to find them. it goes into your computer and finds all the pictures of you and grandma. Then you can create an album of just that. Very cool.

That doesn’t even begin to describe all the extra things the software does… including sharing, facebook, mobile access and more.
